The purpose of Wallace Wellness Center, LLC is to promote healing and holistic wellness through the implementation of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. WWC, LLC services primarily adults 18 years and older with mild to acute psychological barriers which include but are not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, Substance Abuse/ Addiction, Interpersonal Conflicts, Distress Intolerance, and other debilitating stressors that impact one's quality of life.
Marisa Wallace, MA, NCC, LPC is a Cleveland, OH native. Marisa makes a conscious effort each day to live with compassion and a genuine sense of self. It is her professional goal to continue to increase awareness surrounding the importance of Mental Health and helping clients to create lives with meaning and purpose.
Marisa completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the illustrious Clark Atlanta University. She received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Substance Use Disorders from John Carroll University where she also joined Chi Sigma Iota. During her studies, she was afforded the opportunity to be a part of the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Minority Fellowship Program in Addictions Counseling.
With this program, she was able to take part in a national effort to help ensure the behavioral health needs of all individuals would be met. She is also currently an active member of the American Counseling Association, Ohio Counseling Association, Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, Ohio Association for Multicultural Counseling & Development, Ohio Career Development Association, and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Issues in Counseling of Ohio.
